About Java Language
This high-level platform independent language is developed in 1995 by Sun Microsystems. It is very similar to c++ because both are object oriented languages. It is the upgraded version of Oak language. It was unsuccessfull in the market launched for the project set top box. The it was modified and changed the name from Oak to Java.
